no perfect title here

yes…amory is pulling some kind of a funny face…and i know the quality of the picture is not so great. and I know there is no title to this page… there are so many imperfect things about this layout…yet when you hold it in your hand it says so much.

the journaling reads:
so here i am…trying to take a “perfect” picture that will jog all the memories. you know the ones i feel i need to hold for both me and amory. but there is no perfect picture. there is only the experience. the experience that is who we are. and I am so glad that amory (and i) got to share that experience with you…thank you.

this was my end of year gift to amory’s first teacher…a wonderful woman…who allowed my son and all of his friends…simply be who they are.
